I am Joseph Tchen. I am a third year English and Linguistics major. This semester I have been charged to analyze five timeless qualities presented by Italo Calvino. Furthermore I must tie those qualities into a personal emblem, and a real world analogy while simultaneously zeroing in on the quality in a work of New Media and connecting the dots to qualities that Katherine Hayles proposes in her novel Electronic Literature.
